DESCRIPTION:Join Clinical Herbalist and Doctor of Natural Medicine Petra Sovcov for our February Herbal Roundtable\, as she discusses the pathology of Hashimoto thyroiditis\, Graves disease and Hypo/Hyperthyroidism\, presenting case studies and recommended care plan including herbs\, supplements as well as dietary and lifestyle modifications. \nDate: February 17th\, 2022.  \nTime: 11:30am – 1pm PST \nStudents must register to join the zoom webinar. The link to register will be emailed to eligible students\, please contact student services if you did not receive this. \n*Note that Herbal Roundtables are available to new or upgraded Practical Herbalist Students and will only be available live\, students will not have access after the fact. \nMeet Petra\nPetra was previously part of the Finlandia Natural Health Centre in Vancouver where she served as  Clinical Herbalist on their team of natural practitioners.  Currently\, she is a staff member at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she teaches Nutrition and the Environment (the environmental impact of man-made pollution on the food system and environment)\, as well as Herbal Medicine Studies.  \nShe is an active volunteer with Herbalists Without Borders International (HWB) and serves as co-chair on their board of directors. She also runs the HWB Chapter for Vancouver BC and the free people’s clinic at Healing House.
